Subangdaku Technical Vocational High School is a government educational institution catering to the educational needs of the barangay where it deruves its name. The school site is owned by the city government with a land area of 3,500 square meters. It has three (3) academic building also from the city government. SubangdakuTechnical Vocational High School has thre (3) elementary schools which serve as feeder schools. Subangdaku Elementary School is 1 kilometer and mabolo Elementary School is also 1 kilometer from Subangdaku Technical Vocational High School.
This school is one of the 14 secondary schools in the Division of Mandaue City that serve as feeder to the neighboring city's universities and colleges as well as working force in the neighboring MEPZ2. The school is staff by 17 teachers, 2 security guards and 1 clerk. The school aims to fulfill its mission and vision.
The 3 storey concrete building is in good condition. The urgent needs of the school as in preparation for the full implementation of the Tech Voc curriculum are the automotive shop, welding and bakery shop. Equipments, tools and instruments are solicited from Rotary Club of Cebu West, Rotary Club International and local school board. Hopefully, by the SY 2009-2010 STVHS shall be included in the special funds for the Tech Voc schools for its infrastructure, equipment, tools and instruments.
The school ground is undergoing cementing courtesy KIMWA, a construction company near the school. Drainage is a problem to the school and solution is being planned by the barangay council and the school.
